Direct-to-garment (DTG) is a relatively new technology that first emerged in the 90s.
It then became commercially available in 2005 but has only recently become a viable alternative to traditional production methods, including screen printing..
Direct to garment printing uses ink and prints directly onto the fabric or item of your choice. It prints straight into the fibres of the fabric, and a a heatpress is used to seal the ink into the garment meaning you don’t feel the design or ink when you touch it.
