In the midst of the pandemic came 2021. We have also known that being a printer in London would be competitive and tough to say the least but we had no idea how the global issues would impact our business.
After years of grinding and hardwork we made the decison to diversify and get a ricoh direct-to-garment (DTG) printer and a happy japan embroidery machine and what an addition they have been!
We definitely have been busy to say the least and have met some extraordinary people and businesses. From secondary school children organising their end of year leavers hoodies to large marketing companies getting promotional material for huge international events.
We have had to learn everything from inks and platens to hat frames, bobbins and thread. We have absolutely loved every minute of it.
Our team have had moments of pressure, excitement and definitely laughter and we have grown closer and feel more like family than anything else.
Bespoke, customised garments at an affordable price was always our mission statement so its an amazing achievement for us to be able to be at the end of 2021 and not have had to raise our prices or lower our quality.
We offer high quality prints and clothing at low prices, we are winning!
When people are looking for workwear we often get requests absolutely insisting on embroidery. Usually followed by the explanation that 'it lasts longer'.
When we first started printing and only offered heat transfer and vinyl printing, it made perfect sense. There are so many variables that determine how long transfer lasts etc so we completely understood the apprehension.
Fast forward a few years and we have grown and now offer Direct To Garment printing (a.k.a DTG). The advancement in technology means that the print is just as reliable and robust as the old favourite screen printing.
With DTG Generally you will find that the garment wears out way before the print would. So with the absence of set up costs it can often be more cost effective to do DTG rather than embroidery for work uniforms if only a small number of garments are required. DTG can also aesthetically be more eye catching depending on your logo or brand and that's one of the purposes of the uniform in the first place right?
If you need some workwear or uniform printed or embroidered then get in touch today and one of the team would only be too happy to go through your options with you.
